WATERLOOVILLE AFC – CLUB STATEMENT

Waterlooville AFC is delighted to confirm the appointment of Harvey Bradbury as our new Director of Football, effective immediately. Following discussions with the club owner, Harvey has agreed to join the club and assume full responsibility for all football operations.

He brings with him extensive experience gained across a diverse and accomplished playing career, together with a deep understanding of both the Football League and the non-league game.

A former youth graduate of Portsmouth FC, Harvey progressed to Watford FC before securing a move to Oxford United FC in August 2018. It was at Oxford United that he made his professional League debut in November 2018 at just 20 years old — a major career milestone and the beginning of a wide-ranging journey through English football.

Harvey’s playing career has since taken him across the football pyramid. He has gained valuable experience through loan spells and permanent moves with clubs including St Albans City FC, Hungerford Town FC, Woking FC, Millwall FC, Morecambe FC, as well as a number of respected non-league sides such as Oxford City FC, Welling United FC, Gosport Borough FC, Dorchester Town FC, Dartford FC, Farnborough FC, and most recently Havant & Waterlooville FC.

This breadth of experience — spanning academies, the EFL, and non-league football — has equipped Harvey with a rare, holistic perspective on the modern game. Across many seasons, he has shown adaptability, professionalism, and a deep-rooted passion for football.

As Director of Football, Harvey will lead the club’s overarching football strategy, including player recruitment, development pathways, coaching structures, and long-term squad planning. His background and journey make him uniquely positioned to help shape Waterlooville AFC’s next chapter.

Statement from Harvey Bradbury

“I’m honoured and excited to join Waterlooville AFC in this new role. I know the importance of building a strong club identity, investing in players who share our values, and working at every level of the pyramid. I look forward to working with the board, coaches, players and fans to build something special here.”

The board and management extend their full support to Harvey in his new role and encourage all supporters to give him a warm welcome as he begins what we believe will be an important new era for The Ville.
