Brand Protection – Waterlooville AFC
Waterlooville AFC is committed to protecting the club’s name, crest, colours and overall identity. To ensure our brand is represented properly and respectfully, the following guidelines apply to all supporters, partners, businesses and media outlets.
Club Name and Crest
The Waterlooville AFC name, badge and any related logos are protected assets. They must not be edited, recreated, recoloured, stretched, cropped or altered in any way. They must not be used for commercial purposes, merchandise or promotional material without permission from the club. Only the official versions provided by the club may be used.
Partners, Sponsors and Media Use
Authorised partners and sponsors may use the Waterlooville AFC name and crest as part of an approved partnership. Usage must always be respectful, accurate and in line with the materials supplied by the club. Any promotional use online, on print, or in advertisements must be approved by the club before publication.
Supporters and Community Use
Supporters may share the club’s name, crest and images for non-commercial fan content, discussion or celebration of the club. Fans may not create or sell merchandise, charge for content using the brand, or present personal statements as official club communications.
Digital Content and Photography
Matchday photos, graphics, player images and other media created by the club or its photographers are protected. They may not be used for business promotion, advertising, merch or commercial gain without permission.
Prohibited Uses
The club’s name, badge or media may not be used in connection with political content, offensive or harmful material, or to imply a partnership that does not exist. Any use that misrepresents the club or damages the club’s reputation is not permitted.
