Waterlooville AFC Ladies – Player Recruitment 2026/2027 Season

Waterlooville AFC is proud to announce the launch of a Ladies Team for the 2026/2027 season, and we are now actively recruiting players to be part of this exciting new chapter.

As the club continues to grow during its rebirth, the introduction of a Ladies side represents a key step in expanding our football offering and strengthening our presence within the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity for players to join a new team from the very beginning and help shape its identity, culture and success.

The Opportunity

We are looking to build a competitive, committed and ambitious squad, bringing together players of varying experience levels who share a passion for football and a desire to develop within a structured club environment.

Whether you are:

  • An experienced player looking for a new challenge
  • Returning to football after time away from the game
  • Or a committed player seeking a supportive and organised club

We welcome all expressions of interest.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team from its formation, contributing to both on-pitch success and the long-term development of the Ladies section at Waterlooville AFC.

Our Vision

Waterlooville AFC is committed to building a sustainable and progressive Ladies team that reflects the values of the club.

Our focus will be on:

  • Creating a positive and inclusive environment
  • Developing players both individually and as a team
  • Establishing a strong team identity from day one
  • Competing at an appropriate level with ambition to progress
  • Building a pathway within the club for female football

We aim to provide a structured setup that supports players on and off the pitch, with clear organisation, communication and long-term planning.

What to Expect

Players joining the Ladies team can expect:

  • Regular training sessions led by committed coaching staff
  • A supportive and organised club environment
  • Opportunities to compete in league and cup competitions
  • A focus on player development and team progression
  • A strong connection to the wider Waterlooville AFC structure
  • A welcoming, community-focused atmosphere

As the team develops, further details regarding league placement, fixtures and competition structure will be confirmed.
