Waterlooville AFC is delighted to announce a new partnership with AS Football Academy, a Portsmouth-based organisation dedicated to unlocking the potential of young footballers. This collaboration is an exciting step forward in our shared mission to support player development and strengthen community football.
AS Football Academy has built a strong reputation for delivering fun, engaging, and tailored coaching sessions for children of all ages and abilities. From tots taking their first steps in the game to aspiring players pushing for the next level, their programmes help develop confidence, skills, and teamwork. Beyond their development centres, the Academy also partners with schools to deliver after-school clubs and PE sessions, ensuring football remains accessible to all.
Following recent discussions between Waterlooville AFC Owner Lee Stainton and AS Football Academy Director Andy Sillence, both parties are pleased to confirm this collaboration. As part of the partnership, Andy Sillence will also contribute directly to Waterlooville AFC’s Youth Development programme, bringing his expertise and passion into the heart of our club.
AS Football Academy has also shared their enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting a shared ambition to grow the game and inspire the next generation of footballers.
This partnership represents more than a collaboration — it’s a commitment to building a stronger future for football in our region. Together, Waterlooville AFC and AS Football Academy will continue to champion development, community, and the love of the game.
